We had rather a stronger wind, one day last week, than we’re normally used to. Now, the wind has been a feature of this last winter, where I live, but around last Wednesday, it was very strong. I decided to make use of a good day.
The sun was shining with the big wind and I had lots of washing to do! I managed all four loads, got them out and dried on the outside lines.
I thought my peg bag was broken. Some time later, I found the missing piece to it and was able to resecure it properly to the line. I’m far more used to disaster happening than mercy! Not being funny, but that is the truth, and has been, in the sixth year, now, of this long, gruelling contest with a disease I now cannot manage.
But anyway, a few other things happened as well, like, because of the wind, I had to be triply aware of securing the clothing, towels and other things to the lines! Only one item blew off, and I was able to find it on the grass, later. Another act of mercy.
So, all in all, at least the weather didn’t have me beaten. I’m grateful.
