Special update, to all my loved ones on here

Hi everyone 🙂

I’ve got something to tell you all, and you are not to panic, or be upset. All right?

For the second time, this year, my husband, due to his condition, has been taken into hospital with a suspected (by myself) TIA, or small stroke.

Now look, we’ve been through this before. We have a dedicated ward at the local hospital who specialise in treating such patients. We are in good hands. I sort of know what to expect, as, like I say, it’s the second time around.

One thing that did happen is that I went straight to the emergency service, when before, I was faffing around, making other calls before being directed to our excellent emergency service, or Ambulance Service. I would hedge every bet that the Lord was behind me doing that. The guys who came here took one look, ran a test or two, and took hubby in.

All will be well! If you guys see this and could spare a prayer or two for us, I’d be really, really grateful.

I thought I owed it you to tell you, just in case I’m not seen here for a few days. Now, you know why!

Love you all to bits, and see you again, soon as I am able. Meanwhile, keep sharing the Truth. I’ll get a sneak peek in, as and when I can. Last time this happened, hubby was in hospital  for a week, so, who knows what’ll happen this time? For all I know, I could have to prepare to bring him home again tomorrow.

This is all part of living with dementia. We’ll both get a bit of a rest while he’s being cared for in hospital, and I can catch up on cleaning and sleeping/reading/whatever else needs doing.

Too busy to be scared; too full of the Lord’s goodness to worry. But like I said, I’d value your prayers, if you don’t mind!

Thanks everyone, love Jen xx

Praise the Lord, for He is good. His mercy endures forever.

About tellthetruth1

The blog site is up and running. Please feel free to visit if you want to know the Lord. I treasure His Scriptures and pray you do, also. I've been a Christian since October 2009. The Lord saved me that month and has led me through many things in life. The one thing I adore Him for is bringing me the Light of Salvation and for forgiving me my wickedness.

Thank you so much, Rebekah. He needs to be saved, as he isn’t. I’m going up to the hospital tomorrow, (Wednesday), for a chat with the staff.

  3. A prayer for you both, Jen! I really admire your attitude about life and faith.

What makes it easier is that I know he’s in good hands. It wasn’t a TIA, but a full-blown stroke, this time. However, he’s still alert, understands what’s being said to him, and can walk again, although he doesn’t walk, he shuffles.

I could see he was a mess, immediately. The Lord dealt well with us, but I’ve asked Him to prepare hubby for eternity, because it’s coming to him at some point. He’s 81, and this is possibly the third time in his life this has affected him. So he really needs to repent. He’s running out of time, Maria.

Thank you for your prayers, my friend, and your visit and comment. Appreciated more than you’ll ever know. God be with you, Maria.

  5. God be with you too! And with your hubby – yes, preparation for eternity.
