Two things that are terrifying: One, A person comes up and tells you he’s a Christian. His life, however, betrays that affirmation in the way other people are treated. Two: Someone who devours the Scriptures and says they love them yet get the teaching on the return of Christ abominably wrong. Fighting the Good Fight becomes impossible with these people.

When the dogs and swine come to harass and distract it is not pleasant, but I can bear it. However, when someone approaches this ministry as if a friend only to be discovered later to be a deceiver it is somehow much more difficult to bear. When one breaks the bread of the Word of God with us then turns on us it is a bitter thing. Why?
